Fair Ladies

One thing is clear on the new issue of Vanity Fair — if you don’t normally wear elbow-length gloves with your swimsuits, then you should start doing so immediately. The annual Hollywood Issue — wherein VF crowns the new Tinseltown’s It girls — hits newsstands on February 6. This year’s batch includes: Emily Blunt, Amy Adams, Jessica Biel, Anne Hathaway, Alice Braga, Ellen Page, Zoë Saldana, Elizabeth Banks, Ginnifer Goodwin and America Ferrera. Click here to see all the girls in their Annie Leibovitz-captured splendor...The Grey's Anatomy actress tops AskMen.com's 2008 list of the 99 Most Desirable Women, beating out three Victoria's Secret Models (Adriana Lima, Marisa Miller, and Alessandra Ambrosio) and two Timberlake lady-loves (current flame Jessica Biel, and video costar Scarlett Johansson).
The list, which the website compiles annually, is meant to represent the woman men think have the most desirable attributes in a companion, beyond basic appearance. And we have to say fellas — well done with number one. We're digging a choice who's more "girl next door" than Girls Next Door

Is Jessica Biel drawing inspiration from her romance with Justin Timberlake for her new film?
Jessica is currently on location filming Easy Virture, a film based on Noel Coward's 1924 play, about an American divorcee that marries a stuffy Englishman on the fly.
Top acting coach Ivanna Chubbuck has been working with Jessica (the coach has previously lead stars like Halle Berry, Terrence Howard and Charlize Theron to award-worthy performances) on the film, where audiences will see a different side of the actress. A funny one.
"She gets to do something we've never really seen her do before, high comedy," Chubbuck told PageSix.com. Jessica and the coach have been working intensely by phone, going over performance notes and honing her craft.
As the part centers on a woman in love, we couldn't help but wonder if Jess is calling up some current feelings for Justin to make the role feel more authentic?
"It's about the truth of what you want. Don't you find the funniest things that you've done in your life have been in the name of desperation? The more you wanted [someone] to fall in love with you, the sillier you got. The stupider you go," Chubbuck said of the movitation she's given Jess

On a rainy Mischief Night Jarett Wieselman arrived in this world, all 10 pounds 9 ounces of him. After he was consistently mistaken for a 3-month-old in the newborn care center, Wieselman’s parents quickly became aware their son was larger than life. Once he was old enough to walk, his mother felt he was old enough to dance, and enrolled him in extremely manly tap, jazz and ballet classes. While he didn’t have the proper jazz hands required to be the next Bob Fosse, his love of all things entertainment was solidified.

Libby Keatinge was born in Santa Monica, California, and grew up in Los Angeles. She began writing at an early age, and when she was 14, she was a consultant on A Web of Good Manners by Phyllis Hillings. She graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2001, and three years later, her novel, Beverly Hills Tutor, detailing her experiences as a tutor in the eccentric world of the Beverly Hills elite, was published and optioned for a film

BRITNEYSPEARS

She claimed she'd remain a virgin until she wed, but an 18-year-old Britney Spears warned, "I'm not that innocent" on her 2000 hit "Oops!… I Did It Again." We believe you now, Britney! With frequent stints in rehab, a memorable trip to a beauty parlor where she shaved her own head, an aversion to underwear, and almost-daily visits to court, Spears is anything but innocent. She claims she never set out to be a role model: "I would like to be called an inspiration to people, not a role model — because I make mistakes like everybody else."
Over the past few years, her life has been a roller-coaster ride. In 2004 Spears married childhood friend Jason Alexander in Las Vegas. The union lasted 55 hours and ended in an annulment. Spears married for a second time nine months later. Her new husband was backup dancer
Kevin Federline, whose then-girlfriend Shar Jackson was pregnant with his second child. Chicken fingers were served, music played on a boombox, and the groomsmen wore sweat suits emblazoned with the word "Pimps."
Spears and Federline had two children, Sean and Jayden, in quick succession. After Spears filed for divorce in November 2006, she hit the major Hollywood hotspots (sometimes with
Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan), but it all caught up with her. She checked into Crossroads rehab in Antigua in February 2007, only to leave after one day. Spears then flew back to California and shaved her head. Following the surprising incident, she entered rehab for a second time and completed a 30-day stint at Promises in Malibu.
She attempted to make a comeback with her single "Gimme More" at the MTV Video Music Awards in September, but appeared to be unrehearsed and unfocused. The following month, a judge temporarily revoked Spears' custody of her children, calling her "a frequent and habitual drug user," and ordered her to attend parenting classes and submit to weekly drug tests.
